The allotted degrees carry a designation related to the broad field such as BA, the BSC, BEng etc... The majority of the degrees of Bachelor are now degrees of honors. Before the semi 20th century all the candidates would take an ordinary degree, and then are selected to continue during one year final for the degree of honors. Maintaining this can be tiny room with two by the second direct entry of year (for people who made basic degrees or changed subjected or similar) or by making the compressed courses (which are controlled by several newer universities). For reasons of placement (the placement for programs of student preparing a licence is automatic, the placement for higher university programs is not) it becomes increasingly common to entirely jump the stage of Bachelor and to go directly to the Masters of level on a four years course (five years if with an industrial experiment) (which often shares the first three years with the course of Bachelor equivalent).

The degrees of honors are of a higher standard of academic. However the practice of the 'Hons of writing ' as an element of the designation of degree is semi-official and is considered by much assignment. A degree of honors is always allotted in one of four classes depending on the marks gained in the final evaluations and examinations. The higher students are allotted the first degree of class, next best, a second higher degree of class (usually indicated under the name of one 2:1), next second lower degree of class (usually indicated under the name of one 2:2), and those with the lowest marks gain a third degree of class. An ordinary degree or not classified (which does not give to the graduate the right to add the '(Hons) ') can be allotted if a student achieved the full course but the hasn't of degree of honors obtained the passages required by total sufficiently to deserve a degree of honors of third-class.

Ordinary degrees are unclassified degrees awarded to all students who have completed the course and have scored enough to spend the last assessment and examinations.
